The overarching question: "What is Token Engineering?"
Token engineering (TE) encompasses a wide range of aspects, and our comprehensive study dives into key areas that emerged from insightful interviews with industry experts. From defining TE to addressing ethical considerations, examining financial implications, envisioning the future, and understanding the people shaping this space, we leave no stone unturned.
This research serves as a significant milestone for the discipline, shedding light on its maturation since the term was coined in 2018. Through the generous support of the Token Engineering Commons (TEC), we have embarked on this journey to better comprehend the challenges, needs, and practices of token engineering stakeholders.
